A personal recommendation tracker built directly into the portfolio. Integrates with Tenrai API for anime, manga, and manhwa data, and TMDB API for movies — letting me curate and share content I genuinely enjoy, backed by real metadata pulled from external sources.
Browsing Recommendations
Users can browse curated picks across four categories — anime, manga, manhwa, and movies. Each entry is pulled live from its respective API, showing cover art, scores, genres, and a synopsis.
Recommendation Management
A password-protected admin panel lets me search for titles directly from Tenrai or TMDB and add them to the list. Entries can be marked as favorites to pin them to the top of their category.
Detail Pages
Each recommendation has a dedicated detail page showing full metadata — synopsis, score, genres, characters, and an embedded YouTube trailer when available.

Integrations
Tenrai API — unofficial MyAnimeList REST API used to fetch anime, manga, and manhwa metadata including scores, synopses, cover images, genres, and character data.
TMDB API — The Movie Database API used to fetch movie metadata including posters, overviews, ratings, and YouTube trailer links.
Sanity CMS — stores all recommendation entries including type, ID, source (Tenrai or TMDB), and the favorite flag.
